Terrific bubbly with a gorgeous mousse and toasty goodness. Notes of green apples and Asian pear. Makes a great aperitif or companion to many dishes.
Extra Cuvée De Reserve food pairings: cream soups, oysters, seafood, caviar, soufflés, strawberries.

|Megan reviewed this wine as follows:|
On the nose I got lemon, grapefruit, orange, apple, flowers, and crayon wax. A lovely fruit bowl of a nose. In the mouth I found lemon, grapefruit, apple, and a bit of orange zest. The apple in the mouth seemed more tart than on the nose. The wine had great bubbles and a racy backbone.
|Pol Roger founded his Champagne house in 1849, and today it is one of the few remaining family-owned Champagne producers. With cellars which can hold over six million bottles, Pol Roger exports to 105 countries around the world. The house of Pol Roger is renowned for both its non-vintage Brut, which is the standard bearer for any Champagne house, and its vintage Champagnes, including the famous "Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill." |
The style particular to the House of Pol Roger is characterized by its "Brut", which is a harmonious "assemblage" of different vintages. It is the skill of the tasters and the careful selection of the "crus" which gives this wine its balance and its continuity of style
