Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Made from Tebbiano di Soave & Garganega grapes, this refreshing white has a ripe pear nose. Summery ripe pears, peaches and honeydew melon on delicious fruity palate with mouth-watering acidity and satiny mouthfeel. A delightful summery white.
Tasted May 2016
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A delightful white wine blend of Soave and Garganega grapes grown in the Veneto region of North East Italy. Crisp and light-bodied with slight effervescence, dry and just plain easy drinking. Serve well chilled with smoked salmon, crisp green salad, shellfish.
Tasted: May 2016
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Pale straw in colour with aromas of pear, green apple and peach. It is very dry with mouth watering acidity and flavours of white grapefruit. This will pair well with soft creamy cheese, green salads, seafood or chicken.
This Italian white wine is both salty and acidic. Soave has not had a great reputation in the past but it's improving. Look for those wines from the Soave Classico zone that enjoy hillside exposure. The Pieropan winery also makes single vineyard bottlings, La Rocca and Calvarino. - Community Wine Reviews
