Purchased in St Sauveur PQ
Doug Mcmillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Cedar, vanilla, mint, black pepper, with black and red cherries in the nose. The flavours add a little tart cherry and plum to the mix. The mouth-feel is quite smooth. This is a nice wine for a beef stew with heavy roasted vegetables.
Jennifer Macdonald rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of rich red berries, black and white pepper, cedar, leather and spice. Similar flavours on the palate as well. Needs a few minutes to open up but then it mellows out nicely.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Blackcherry and smoke on the nose and palate with some plum, menthol and pepper in the flavor.
Marco Giovanetti rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark berries with lots of menthol notes and smoke. In the mouth, full body with sweet ripe fruit, dry black fruitwith lots of licorice character. Powerful finish.
Kimberly Inksater rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

This 2012 Malbec is a rich ruby colour and has delicious aromas of dark berries, baking spices, cedar, vanilla, and white pepper. The flavours are similarly rich with plums and vanilla lingering on the finish. With balanced acidity and tannins this wine would pair nicely with prime rib or other roast.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
