When I received this sample for tasting, I opened it with sadness, secretly wanting to stash it away in my own cellar for 5 years. This spectacular wine is made by the Wine Genius of Prince Edward County, Norm Hardie. Why buy Meursault when you can get that elegance, finesse and gorgeous flavour for a fraction of the price. Yes, this is a bargain bottle at $49. This wine is made from 65% Niagara fruit and 35% Prince Edward County fruit.

Chardonnay food pairings: lobster, shellfish, sable fish, pasta dishes with cream based sauces.

Gordon reviewed this wine as follows:

Actually 2007
Our L series is only made in the best years for the varietal. This wine was aged 18 months in French oak 500L barrels to avoid over-oaking. It exhibits all the richness of a Mersault and the tight limestone minerality of a Puligny-Nontrachat.
