Reviews and Ratings

UNFILTERED. This unfiltered Niagara Chardonnay is full of great stuffing! Toasted almond and butterscotch apple. Yes the winery is in Prince Edward County, but the fruit from this wine comes from Niagara. Aromas of fresh green apple and white peach. Pair with roasted chicken. MINE: Tasted at Taste Ontario! March 2017. This unfiltered Niagara Chardonnay is bursting with green apple and lime zest. Pair with fresh seafood. OTHER: Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review: 2014 Unfiltered Chardonnay, Niagara Peninsula - lovely butterscotch and oak influence, texture, and stone fruit with ripe apple notes. Lovely! 91+ points. OTHER: Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review: A very elegant unfiltered Chard made from all PEC fruit, showing appetizing tropical fruit, butterscotch, coconut, white grapefruit and toast aromas and flavours. Excellent gift wine. OTHER: Norm Hardie has won considerable international praise, including a shout out from the one and only Jancis Robinson, MW, who said of his wines: "... the most important thing about Norman Hardie's wines from Ontario are that they are absolutely, utterly, profoundly delicious." (jancisrobinson.com, May 27, 2016). This one is unfiltered and made from wild yeasts. Expect a profound, refined and textured world-class Chardonnay (Vintages Panel, updated). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
