A rustic, robust red that offers blackberry and cassis aromas. Decant for 1-2 hours. Finishes with wild blackberry, mocha, vanilla spice and dried herbs. Pair it with game dishes.
Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: hearty meat dishes, hard cheese.

|Philippe Perreault, Sommelier rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:|
Deep garnet color!
Powerful nose of oak, tobacco, licorice, green pepper, blackberry and bleuberry!
The wine is firm, full-bodied and very long on the palate!
Excellent to match any kind of red meat!
Serve it at 15-17 degrees!
Can be aged 4-5 years!
|This big South African red wine is produced by a winery with a Manor House built in 1800 and now a historical monument. Supple tannins, dark fruit and layers of flavour. Pair with Chateaubriand or seared AAA steak or lamb with thyme. - Community Wine Reviews|
