Lots of coffee, mocha, dark chocolate and espresso on the nose and palate of this Californian red wine from generous oak aging. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this wine are grown in Napa Valley. Pair with a coffee-rubbed steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: rosemary lamb, barbecued ribs in sauce, strong cheeses, Margherita pizza.

The Cabernet Sauvignon red wine grapes for Napa Wine Arts Madisons' Ranch Reserve (2011) were sourced from vineyards in the Napa Valley. The wine was then aged in oak barrel. The wine is deep purple in the glass with aromas of ripe, dark berries, plum jam and cake spice. Tannins are velvety. Drinking well now and for the next several years. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
