Crisp and clean with toasty aromas of baked bread and green apple. Terrific price for classic Champagne. Makes and excellent aperitif or companion to fried chicken (get a big bucket).

Reviews and Ratings

Marco Giovanetti rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

On the nose atractive aromas of orange brioche, yeast with dry lemon peel. On the mouth, round with a good mousse and acidity. Lemony taste with just enough sweetness. Very balanced and quite elegant. Finale brings to mind apples with dry white fruits. Very nice match with a duo of salmon tartar and lobster and mango salad

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
