In a blind tasting, you'd easily mistake this Australian Chardonnay for a top Burgundian Meursault Chardonnay. Mountadam High Eden Estate is Australia's coolest climate Chardonnay vineyard. Intensely flavoured with mouth-coating viscosity. Pair with buttered popcorn or lobster in melted butter.
Chardonnay food pairings: grilled fish, spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, beef bourguignon, toasted ravioli with Alfredo sauce, Asian dishes with black bean sauces.

|Wineboy rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:|
A lovely classic Aussie Chardonnay that is sure to appeal to a large percentage of people. Medium-full in aromas of tree fruit and tropical fruit, medium full in flavours that replay nicely. The buttery characteristics and oak flavours build nicely.
|Light straw-green in the glass, Mountadam Estate (2015) is a cool-climate Chardonnay from one of the coolest-climate vineyards in Eden Valley, South Australia. Vines for this Burgundian-style Chardonnay were planted in 1971 at an altitude of 551 metres above sea level. The wine does spend time on its lees, receiving bâtonnage in 60% new French oak barriques. The wine has seen full malolactic conversion that give the Chardonnay a rich and full mouthfeel. - Community Wine Reviews|
