Very pretty and satisfying with lovely vibrant aromas and flavours of green apple sunshine. Medium- to full-bodied with mouth-watering acidity. Perfect for roast chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: seafood salad, sautéed scallops.

Joe Hache Opimian Society rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Not a big fan of Chardonnay's as they are usually quite oaky, I was plesantly surprised with this New Zealand offering. It was only lightly oaked and to me this allows the chardonnay flavor to shine through. It had wonderful citrus aromas and a wonderful intensity on the palate. Being lightly oaked gave it a smooth chrisp finish without the (in my opinion) overbearing buttery finish of a more heavily oaked chard. We had this with Salmon and it paired perfectly.
Aromas of apple, pear, white peach and citrus. The palate is very fresh and nervy, with a very light mouthfeel that runs wonderfully counter to expectation, but in a rewarding and satisfying way. Refreshing and crisp. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, March 2013

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
