1er Cru living up to it's allocation with crisp apple and pear, with a hint of melon and minerality. Aromas simular to palate. With it's low-med intensity of flavour pair with seafood or fish dishes.
|Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:|
Pure Chablis; intense flavours of lime, pear, chamomile, vanilla, and a stony minerality. This wine's cool climate Chardonnay character shines through on the long, clean, refreshing finish.
Enjoy today or keep until 2015.
Pair with delicate sauces for pasta, fish, and chicken.
Date tasted: February 2014.
|If you’re going to call yourself Domaine du Chardonnay, you had better deliver, and this classically styled Chablis certainly hits all the marks. This will suggest aromas and flavours of ripe green apple and smoky minerality and will offer the elegance and marked steely acidity that makes Chablis such an excellent match for seafood. A great value. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, undated.|
