A terrific wine for the money, and a great one for holiday parties and potluck gatherings. It offers aromas and flavours of fleshy ripe cherries with full-bodied weight and mouth-watering juiciness. Decant 1 hour. Try it with pepperoni pizza.

Bardolino food pairings: grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Aromas of spice, raisin, ripe cherry, plum and grapefruit zest with a lifted floral note. The palate offers sour cherry and spice in a dry, crisp and classic frame. Serve lightly chilled to enhance this wine's bright and refreshing characteristics. Enjoyable as a sipping red. Source: Vintages Wine Ratings and Reviews, July 2013.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
