Vintages Wine Panel: Friuli’s take on P.G. is noted for its richness, and this pretty little number is no exception. Packed with melon, floral and pear characteristics, and featuring a pleasingly lengthy finish, this is a great summertime wine, and an extremely solid value. My note: A light and simple white with refreshing notes of white melon. Great aperitif.

Pinot Grigio food pairings: summer salads antipasto.
