Mouth-watering and acidic: a perfect foil for shellfish. Clean and crisp with lemon and lime notes. This wine is made from the Melon de Bourgogne grape. Lovely gooseberry and lime notes on the finish. A perfect sun-lit summer wine for the deck or dock. Top me up! Muscadet food pairings: white fish, lightly herbed chicken, hodge-podge, apple strudel, charcuterie, herbed mussels, arugula salad. Smart Buy Wine

Vibrant, telltale Muscadet notions of green pear, grapefruit, stony mineral and a spritz of lemon, along with a suggestion of blanched almond. Tangy, lithe and mineral-laced on the palate, with a crisp lip-smacker of a finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Nov. 2012
