Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

As I continue on my quest for the deal of the century at under $20 I was enticed by the label.....now I'm not alone here!!!! $15.85 a Spanish Tempranillo, if I didn't like it I would cook with it, so there was nothing to loose. Well what a mouthful this wines packs. I love full bodied wines but I truly would suggest pairing this wine with food and not just to drink it like that! I would pair this wine with punchy tasting cheeses or a rich spicey meal, the wine is a perfect companion for them!
In my honest opinion, I loved this wine, I shall definatly buy more and I truly can't believe the price!
Let this wine breath for about 20 minutes.
Wow!

On the nose there are warm cherries, red currant and juniper berries. Mineral noted present themselves along with a delicate tone of chocolate.

On the palate...... Full cherries, juniper berries, tart citrus skin of orange and grapefruit. Tones of weathered saddle leather and dark bitter chocolate are then rounded off with black pepper spice that holds the palate for quite some time. A dry mouth with lengthy tannins. delicious!

Bottoms up!
