Incredible depth and richness that I rarely see in New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, which tends to be zesty. This one is still vibrant and refreshing but it has that extra dimension of complexity infused with glorious citrus fruit: lime and lemon wrapped in lanolin. Long finish.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: Blue Fin Tuna steak seasoned & momentarily seared each side so that it’s still pink in the middle served with a fresh salsa made of lime juice, olive oil, avocado, red onion, capsicum & tomato..

Reviews and Ratings

Pale straw with green hues, the nose is intense, with aromas of papaya and tropical fruits, interlaced and underpinned with crisp citrus and mineral notes. The palate is rich and full, an explosion of tropical fruits almost viscous in intensity, complexed by typical Marlborough “sweat” and minerality, all corralled into order by classical Marlborough acidity, lingering crisply on the finish.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
