Vintages Wine Panel: This wine is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon with 20% Sangiovese Grosso. An attractive garnet-ruby colour in the glass, it offers somewhat subtle notions of blueberry, black cherry, tilled earth, dried fruit, and leather. The palate is dry and medium-full bodied, with a core of robust fruit balanced by ample acidity. Lots of texture here. A very appealing wine. Cellar for 2-3 years, or enjoy it tonight. My note: Tuscany plus! This is a bruiser but it’s also savoury and pleasantly bitter. Rich dark berries backed up savoury spices and herbs. Dark as the night that you’ll slip into easily with this wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon Sangiovese Grosso food pairings: roast leg of lamb.
