Tart cherry and smoke on the nose and palate of this robust northern Italian red wine. Firm tannins that will smooth out with 2 hours decanting. Pair with grilled lamb.
Nebbiolo D'alba food pairings: red meats, grilled, steak tartare, ragout and feathered game, meat-based starters and dishes enhanced with a grating of Alba white truffle; medium/mature cheeses.

Reviews and Ratings
|Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:|
A complex wine with big structure, full bodied, high acidity, high tannins. This wine will develop well with more integration of tannins over the next 5 years. Tasted Jan 2017. Tart cherry, savoury herb, old world rustic leather. Long finish with persistence of tart cherry. Paired well with braised beef. Rated 90/100.
|Colour: ruby red tending to garnet.|
Nose: intense aromas of raspberries, roses and liquorice.
Taste: well-balanced, mouth-filling structure with a long finish.
