Signature garnet colour of the Nebbiolo grape. Supple aromas of cherry, strawberry tart, cassis, fig, raisin, floral, cloves, sweet spices, mint, earth, chocolate, smoke, leather. Still developing with medium+ integrated tannins. Flavours turn more to stewed dark fruit, oak, garrigue, violets, black pepper. Long length on a succulent warming finish. This is a very good general list Barolo. Drink now, suitable for further ageing. Decanting suggested.

|Louise Wilson ISG Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:|
A well structured frame of firm tannin, and mouth watering acidity is dressed in black cherry, cranberry, and plum layers. Floral and earthy nuances add complexity though out the generous length. Perfect with porchetta and roasted potatoes. Tasted Dec 2013.
