Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Great sweetness and soy quality to the nose, spelling maturity of the fruit. Fine florals, some cocoa, and sappy, balsamic bing cherries with a light kick of tobacco on the nose, expressive, exotic and intoxicating. The palate is large-scaled and round with gobs of sweet cherry liqour and exotic spice, a bigger, more powerful wine than the 89' brunate, but to me without the same level of airy grace and palate complexity. This shows a great fruity finish with a slight touch of heat and firm tannin. Excellent, and I feel the time to drink is now, will hold here for another 5 years.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
