Wow! What an expressive red wine! Juicy black plums and berries waft up from the glass, wrapped in a lovely shall of mocha richness. Silk texture, full body, what more could you want? Oh, I know: a second bottle.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: meat dishes, hard cheese, roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Great value Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep ruby red. Nose shows dark fruits, beet root, vanilla, cola, leather, with a touch of earthiness. Well balanced. Enjoy 2014-2018. Tasted November 2014. 88 points. Matt Steeves - www.nataliemaclean.com
This full-bodied red wine is made from entirely hand-harvested Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in alluvial soils. About 60% of the wine was aged for 1 year in French oak and the remainder in concrete tanks. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
