A silky, plush Pinot with lovely aromas of ripe cherries and smoke. Medium-bodied with a supple texture. Layers of red fruit and berries unfold on the palate. This red shows its cool Californian origins from Sonoma in its mouth-watering juiciness to accompany a wider range if dishes. Yes please!

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled salmon with couscous, seared tuna, roast turkey or chicken.

Michael rated this wine as 88/100
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Flavors of tart cherry candy, red berries and spice. Has a nice lingering finish
The Russian River Valley has played a major role in defining the quality of Californian Pinot Noir. Cooling evening fogs rolling in from the Pacific cause the overnight temperatures to drop as much as 45 degrees. This extends the growing season, allowing for extremely ripe grapes while maintaining freshness and acidity. Perfect for Pinot Noir. This is an excellent example of what this region can accomplish. Smooth and ripe with good intensity to the red berry fruit and a rich mocha complexity. Excellent balance throughout and drying tannins appearing on the long finish. Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
