Vintages Wine Panel: This multiple award-winning wine is brimming with spicy fruit character. Intriguing aromas of mocha, black cherry, plum, tobacco leaf, and wild blueberry abound. Dry and medium bodied, it sports ripe tannins and a pleasantly plush texture, with ample bright acidity bringing balance. Still relatively young, it’s drinking nicely now and should continue to evolve in the short term. Cellar this fine Carmenère for 1-2 years, or enjoy it tonight. My note: Dry grained flavour and texture with dark fruit and smoke. Round and pleasing.

Carmenère food pairings: marinated steaks.
