This medium-bodied, silky Old World Pinot Noir has all the charm of a snappy elderly aunt. Wit, spice and and an acid tongue. Slightly stemmy, herbal and green, it's an acquired taste that I've definitely acquired having consumed many bottles of this as almost a house red. You want fleshy and fruity? Not here my dear.

Reviews and Ratings

Fav Wines rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A definite winner in my book. So impressed with this Pinot Noir from the Burgundy region and its price does not break the bank. So smooth on the palate. A medium body wine that will not disappoint.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

This Bourgogne is clear ruby in colour and the smell and the taste are nicely balanced. Aromas of cherry stone and moss develop on the nose and in the mouth the tannins are still impressively showing

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Ce Bourgogne est d’une couleur rubis claire et ses arômes et saveurs sont bien équilibrées. Arômes de pépins de cerise et de mousse qui se développent au nez et en bouche. Les tannins sont impressionnants.

This Bourgogne Pinot Noir reveals an intense red color, with flecks of ruby color. The nose offers a pleasant bouquet of flavors: red fruit notes release, enriched by fine blackcurrant and blueberry aromas. Ample and powerful on tasting, this wine expresses an interesting aromatic complexity, coated in soft tannins. Blueberry and coffee aromas still linger and offer an elegant and enjoyable finish.
