Vintages Wine Panel: Light ruby red color; aromas of cherry, candied raspberry, with earthy, smoky notes, dry, medium bodied, with strawberry and red fruit flavors. Good acid balance; sour cherry finish. My note: Pleasingly tart cherries and fresh-turned earth: this is classic Pinot Noir Old World style. Not fruit forward but balanced, with mouth-watering acidity and a medium-bodied silky texture. Lovely long finish. A wonderful wine for an elegant evening.

Pinot Noir food pairings: turkey, roast chicken, veal, lamb shank, roast beef, grilled salmon, duck, game birds.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
