Reviews and Ratings

rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a white wine that I have never had the experience of trying before. I'm used to those whites that are refreshing on a hot summers day, light and floral.
When the summer comes to a close usually my desire for white wine does too, but what an incredibly pleasant surprise.Attempting to remain open minded and wanting to honor my pork tenderloin I reached for Louis Latour. I admit to being confused at first , not sweet like a pear, not acidic like an apple.....I got it! It had that sweet ,earthy, yet mineral energy of a gooseberry. It took a few more swooshes in the mouth before my smile grew...true to its name...Alpes!
The crispness in the air as the seasons changed, I had found my perfect white to welcome the onset of fall!
Bottoms up!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
