rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

2011 was a challenging year in Beaujolais, but reliable producers came out on top once again. Look to Morgon for the best wines of the vintage, or broader Beauj-villages appellation wines such as the 2011 Jador Combe aux Jacques. This wine features bright red fruit, game, grape must, and a hint of white pepper. 89 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Although normally a Beaujolais is not the first wine I would buy, this one was good. Fruity candied aromas with some butterscotch and banana. Fresh and fruity on the palate, medium length with some tannins. A nice Beaujolais for a nice price.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
