Liberty School Zinfandel 2006 Wine Review
Natalie's Score: 90/100Vintages Wine Panel: Here’s a quick lesson on the subject of Zinfandel: Croatian in origin, this grape took so well to the Californian climate that in the 19th century it became this sunny state’s signature variety. Displaying classic flavors of wild blackberries and spice, this 2006 is a prime example of the style. My note: Bursting with brambleberries, blackberries and black raspberries. A luscious wine that unfolds layer after layer of flavor on the palate and leaves a warm, comforting finish. Rushes out of the glass with aromas of blackberry preserves, licorice and black raspberry. Full-bodied, supple and lip-smacking delicious.
