Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 Wine Review
This terrific Cabernet, so well-structured and tasty, is an excellent value. Aromas of black cherries and blackberries waft from the glass with an undertone of dark spices. A robust, concentrated and richly layered wine. Food matches: filet mignon. 4.4/5

Great with BBQ chicken and pasta with Pesto
|Corinna Horton rated this wine as 4.3/5 with the following review:|
Slightly porty, definitely plumy, with hints of chocolate and and ripe, fruity nose. Sweeter than your average Cab Sav, a great gateway wine for the uninitiated. Three little tips: decant, decant, decant. It needs some time to relax and mellow.
