This terrific Cabernet, so well-structured and tasty, is an excellent value. Aromas of black cherries and blackberries waft from the glass with an undertone of dark spices. A robust, concentrated and richly layered wine. Food matches: filet mignon.

Reviews and Ratings

Greg rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Great with BBQ chicken and pasta with Pesto
Chris Coughlin - WSET level 3 grad rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of black current, clove and green bell pepper. Palate of the same with a bit of rasin. Medium grippy tannins with medium plus body.
Corinna Horton rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Slightly porty, definitely plumy, with hints of chocolate and and ripe, fruity nose. Sweeter than your average Cab Sav, a great gateway wine for the uninitiated. Three little tips: decant, decant, decant. It needs some time to relax and mellow.

Nice without food !

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
