Staggeringly great value in this full-bodied red wine that's a blend of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah grapes. This AC-designated wine features brooding black fruit, dark spices and intrigue. What a great price for such quality, especially from such an iconic winemaker as Chapoutier. Try it tonight with pepperoni pizza.

Food pairings: hearty meat dishes, lamb, steak, ripe cheese.

Louise Wilson ISG Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A real gem of a wine that consistently over delivers. Packed with mouth filling plum, blackcurrant and black cherry flavors, offset by just a touch of spice. Excellent value for a weekday glass. Pair with baked lasagne. Enjoy through 2015. Tasted June 2014.
Pam rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

It's drier than I generally like, but good.
Plenty of dark luscious fruit, dried herbs and garrigue on the nose and palate of this bold red wine. - Community Wine reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
