Natalie's Score: 92/100Vintages Wine Panel: A lively, expertly crafted Chardonnay. Notes of coconut, butterscotch, toast, pear preserves, grapefruit and yellow plum. Dry, medium bodied, crisp and elegant with racy acidity. The oak adds lovely accents to the tangy fruit. Layered, lingering finish. It will also reward 2-4 years in a cellar. My note: Something inside me melts every time I taste this wine, a slow dissolving to sensory bliss. Full-bodied, opulent, buttery and peach-apricot aromas.
Chardonnay food pairings: crab cakes, grilled tuna steaks.

A glorious bottle of Chardonnay in the French style. Nutty, buttery, toasty and well oaked, with notes of autumn fruit and citrus. Dry, medium bodied, with just the right acidity and a long, lingering finish that melts in your mouth.

Beautiful and powerful French oak aromas of buttered popcorn, coconut, vanilla, with crisp citrus and plum. The acidity is very refreshing with bright lemon, and then melts into your mouth with buttery, vanilla, and apricot flavours. Pairs well with rich seafood, roasted poultry, and many cheeses!

Here we have a 2009 Chardonnay that is easily balanced and complex enough to sit for another 2-3 years in your cellar. This wine has a ton going on. Oak, minerality, butter, nuts, and even lemon on the nose and palate. The acidity is fresh and the finishing taste seems to linger in your mouth for awhile. Okay, this is the gift you give the Chardonnay lover on your Christmas list. Beautifully made Canadian chardonnay. Sesame wood on the nose with autumn ripened tree fruit (apple, pear) on the tongue. I'm not a barrel chardonnay fan - okay, now maybe I am.

The 2009 Le Clos Jordanne Village Reserve Chardonnay, is a light to medium bodied, integrated wine with nice aromas of citrus, subtle green notes, leather, oak and vanilla. It has a refreshing acidity, nicely integrated oak and a long vanilla finish (decant for 30+ min). This wine was meant to be aged as the >5 cm cork suggests; though not much fruit remains 3 years after bottling, the aging complexity will reward for several more years to come. This is a sipping wine though can be enjoyed with a meal – best when served around 10-15 °C. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 90 pts – though on the expensive side of $30, I recommend this wine. Tasted Oct/12.

Spring flower aromas from the cork. Silky aromas of buttered popcorn and French oak, with hints of vanilla. Also an intriguing sesame note. Creamy mouthfeel with refreshing acidity and extra dry flavours of minerality, oak and lemon rind. Very smooth with a lasting finish that goes on and on... Tasted Oct/2012.

Sesame on the nose, unctuous, beautiful and buttery with honey. Well-rounded with refreshing acidity. Pairs wonderfully with Alpine Cheese Co.'s Alpindon Kootenay.

Fruit from three vineyards was barrel fermented and aged to create the enticing fusion of aromas of honeyed orchard fruit, citrus, mineral and smoky toast. Dry, medium-full bodied, this vintage displays a lively acidity that frames spiced pear, apple and pithy citrus notes. It finishes clean, flavourful and long lasting. Savour with roast turkey or sample with St. Albert`s Caramelized Onion Cheddar.
