A lovely, expressive Sauvignon Blanc that is more citrus-melon than grassy-herbal. Mouth-watering and juicy with a medium weight. Pair with vegetarian dishes and seafood. Highly recommended.

“This is an example of oak in sauvignon blanc being impeccably handled,” noted [panel member] Michael Ivicevich. The toastiness brought on by barrel fermentation, and the complex, oily texture give this wine a white-Bordeaux-like personality. Score: 5 (out of 5) Source: Cuisine Magazine, New Zealand, Dec. 12, 2011
