Incredibly plush and cherry-soaked wine with layers of lovely come-back-to-me longing. Full-bodied but not heavy. Ultra-satisfying and seductive.
Pinot Noir food pairings: planked salmon, pate, roast chicken.

|The pair from Landmark are both exceptional wines and, if one feels the need to choose between them, it is a choice within the world of small differences. Those who favor this wine will do so for its slightly greater restraint, slightly tighter structure and its seeming willingness to age very well for the next half decade. Its suppleness is given with less ease than its mate, but its balance is impeccable and time is on its side. Score: 92 Source: Connoisseurs’ Guide to California Wines|
