This wine is a blend of 85% tempranillo and 15% mazuelo grapes. It's so savoury and juicy: I’ve been a fan of this wine for many years. Lovely aromas of leather and dried tobacco with some herbs. Terrific dark berry core. Smooth, polished tannins, yet this wine packs a punch flavour-wise. The finish is infused with gorgeous notes of cedar, anise and tobacco with a savoury almost bitter note. Decant 1 hour and then enjoy with great friends. Food pairings: chili, black bean soup, short ribs, tomato tarte, grilled lamb. Luscious Lamb Wine

The grapes for this full-bodied red wine are grown on vineas that are 30 years old. The wine is then matured for 6 months in Russian oak barrels and 15 months in French oak. Source: Winery
