Dark, savoury, meaty and full-bodied. Terrific wine for rich and flavourful meaty dishes. Heart of darkness wine with a golden-good price.

Reviews and Ratings

Subscriptions Trialto rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

La Posta is all about celebrating the local growers - i really like their Malbec's as I do find some from Argentina getting rather commercial in style - but not this beauty. A great wine for BBQ steak.
Bright ruby-red. Dark fruits, chocolate, roasted herbs and licorice on the nose, with attractive spicy lift. Sweet and seamless but energetic, with good lift to the spicy blackberry and violet flavors. This dense, smooth wine finishes with serious broad tannins and very good length. Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
