Natalie's Score: 92/100

Toasted almond on the nose with some butterscotch. Wakes up the senses on the palate with great acidity and green apple vibrancy. Most Kistler Chardonnays are sourced from a single vineyard but this is the winery's only multi-vineyard site Chardonnay.

Chardonnay food pairings: panko-crusted grilled chicken, salmon steaks, basil pesto, prawn bisque, cheese fondue.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

2014 Vintage: Gorgeous delicate orchard fruit, sweet spice, vanilla, nutty, with sweet hay. The palate shows more nutty orchard fruit, with such great balance of fruit and texture. An outstanding premium Chardonnay, in fact one of the finest in the world! Absolutely glorious! Tasted November 2016. 95+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Deep inviting lemon colour with intense aromas from the glass. Caramel corn, apple, toast, butter, vanilla, nutmeg. The acid-fruit is balanced and I didn't taste the 14% abv. Smooth and creamy all the way. Price tag makes it a little out of reach for most Chardonnay lovers but would make a perfect gift.
Tasted: May 2015
