Rich and mouth-filling with cherry and dark spices. Lovely lusciousness. Great complexity in the glass: as full-bodied as New World pinot gets without being heavy or cloying. Superb craftsmanship.

100% barrel aged (20% new) using only 1% of all fruit taken in.
This pinot noir is all Central Otago fruit. Aromas of mulled berries with cinnamon, dark chocolate covered raisins, and roasted beets are complemented with wet stone minerality and floral notes of rose petal. The palate reflects the nose with cinnamon hearts and old leather and an alluring hint of whisky barrel rounding out the complexity.
This Pinot is medium bodied with slightly grippy tannins that could age a further 3-5 years.

Fantastically concentrated version of the Kim Crawford PInot Noir, showing jammy red fruit, cracked black pepper, a certain smokey oakness.

And Wow! This one compliments the roasted duck and spaetzle, with a spicy mayonnaise almost perfectly!

Another of the small parcels experiments from Kim Crawford. Love the fruit cake notes in this wine. Dark fruit, dried fruit, cake spice, pepper and oak. Medium body as compared to Kim Crawford Pinot Noir and more tannins to accompany it. It would be nice to store a few and see how they mature over the next few years. Nice pairing with the Pork Tenderloin. It would also be a nice addition to Thanksgiving turkey with cranberry stuffing.

This Pinot Noir, from Central Otago Valley, is named for the creek that used to run through the area. The mild nose shows red berries, then the complex palate gives cherries, raspberries, hints of mushroom and oak, with a delicious touch of cinnamon. Smooth tannins , a long spicy finish. A great match for turkey or roast pork.

Kim Crawford Pinot Noir is nice.... Small Parcels Pinot Noir is even better. Grapes sourced for this Pinot are from Central Otago and it's brought to maturity in 100% French oak (20% new oak) which brings out the pepper and sweet spice in the wine. Dark fruits with an almost fruitcake like flavour and a long dark cherry finish with some tannins make this a enjoyable wine to be shared with friends.
