A towering Cabernet Sauvignon with a big tannic grip. Needs cellar time. This huge red wine offers signature aromas of blackcurrant, cassis and cedar smoke. Very tannic. After you cellar, decant 2 hours and enjoy with a rare steak.

Reviews and Ratings

This big Californian Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes grown on a mountain vineyard. The elevation is 450 to 1000 feet above sea level in the cool coastal climate of Sonoma. Only 868 cases were produced of this wine. It was aged for 20 months in 99% French oak, of which 37% was new oak with a medium to heavy toast. The vines thrust their roots into volcanic loam and fractured rock. - Community Wine Reviews
