Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A truly wonderful Pinot Gris from Hawke's Bay - Ripe and fragrant on the nose with citrus, pear and stone fruit. The palate is rich with a great fruit intensity and sweetness coupled with an ample, juicy acidity. Lingering pear and pepper finish.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pale straw yellow with fragrant notes of guava and ripe pear. Luscious palate with more sweet ripe pear and tropical guava. Harmonious mouthfeel, refreshing acidity and long pear finish.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This wine has become one of my go to summer sippers! Floral, tropical fruit (guava, melon and green pineapple) notes are present but quickly dissipate. It is crisp, clean and refreshing on the palate. Light bodied and a lovely pair with Thai curries.
Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The Kate Radburned Sun Kissed Pinot Gris 2013 is very good value at the price point of $15.95. Very nice aromas of pear, honey, and floral. On the palate the pear follows with nice melon and guava flavours. Tasted November 1, 2015 (88/100)

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
