Mocha and dark chocolate on the nose of this attractive Niagara Cabernet Franc from oak aging. Mouth-watering and juicy on the palate with black plum flavours. Pair with grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A very fragrant Cab Franc with just a tiny touch of what I call the 'signature' green-ness, augmenting plum, dark chocolate, black cherry and mint. Wonderful aromas. The taste is brighter and less rounded than the aromas would lead you to believe. It's got great acidity, some very fine grippy tannins. and a tart cherry taste. I love the aroma but I think this would be better in three years or so, giving some of the complexity to come into the taste.

Update: As a side note, I has a bottle of this open from a tasting and a *week* later, it was still quite amazing. This may become one of my favourite Cab Francs.
