Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Game, flowers, red and black plum collide with black raspberry and currants. Great purity of fruit here. Can't help but note the white pepper tinge on the finish. 90 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
This organically grown Syrah earned a Silver Medal at the 2009 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. This wine contains 13 mg/L of free sulphur. We can highly recommend the 2006 Syrah, which had a gamey flavour and a depth that belied its price. Source: Bob Campbell, MW, bobswinereviews.com

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
