A bright, come-alive Beaujolais wine made from the gamay grape. Medium-bodied and mouth-watering with great acidity for a variety of dishes from roast chicken to seared tuna. Juicy aromas and flavours of field berries. A playful, happy finish.

Food pairings: grilled chicken, salmon.

The 2012 vintage of this French red wine delivers again: more full-bodied than you'd expect from Beaujolais, but balanced and attractive. There's some herbal, almost bell pepper notes on the nose and palate. Still pleasant and integrated. Finishes fresh. Best consumed in its youth. Try with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
