Natalie's Score: 91/100

Luscious, round dark cherry-berry aromas with mocha from the oak aging. A happy, jubilant wine with a full-body and satin texture. The winemaker uses the punch over technique to circulate the grapes and juice as they're fermenting, which adds richness and body to the wine. So versatile with food.

Pinot Noir food pairings: veal medallions, avocado and papaya salad, grilled radicchio, basil pesto, frittata.

Nick Onischuk Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Inniskillin Single Vineyard Series Montague Vineyard Pinot Noir 2011 has beautiful aromas of cherry, raspberry, spice, earthiness and minerality. Absolutely loved this wine! Tasted October 7, 2013 (90/100)
This well-made Pinot offers exceptional value. Pretty aromas of red cherry, strawberry, woodsmoke, red licorice and floral. Medium bodied with sweet-and-tangy red fruit comingling on the palate. Bright acidity, and fine, velvety tannins. Cellar this wine for 2-3 years, or enjoy it tonight. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, undated.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
