Reviews and Ratings

Simon Chen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This almost 10-year-old champagne consists of equal part of chardonnay, pinot noir, pinot meunier. It's more golden yellow. Brioche bread, orange, and chalky deep aromas. Bright acidity, dry and long lingering bubbles. Still young.
Huré Frères Instantanée Extra Brut 2008 is light, elegant and bone dry. The 2008 Instantanée Extra Brut reflects the "snapshot of the year," according to winemaker, François Huré. The Champagne is made from a traditional Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier Champagne blend and is aged six years on its lees. It was disgorged in October 2015 with a dosage of 3.5 grams sugar per litre. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
