Natalie's Score: 90/100

Brothers and co-owners Mike and Gary Hogue partner well with this terrific and vibrant Washington white wine, which they started in 1982 in the Columbia Valley. Solid value from this fresh, well-made wine. Aromas of field daisies, white peach and apricot. Light-bodied and carefree. Finishes with tasty, lip-smacking notes of tangerine. Pair with mild to medium curries and spices. Closed with a screwcap.

Riesling food pairings: light vegetable curries, smoked salmon salad, crunchy pepper calamari.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
