Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

An amazing Icewine from a storied #CdnWine producer. The Cabernet Icewine is a deep burnt orange colour, and declared at 9.5% Abv. Bright and brilliant on the eyes, fresh and fragrant on the nose and brilliant on the palate. Rich and round with smooth, creamy and mouthwatering mouthfeel. Aromatics of strawberry cheesecake, and honey. Long finish with persistence of strawberry rhubarb custard. Tasted 2013 vintage in Jan 2017. Rated 94/100. Unique and wonderful.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A truly spectacular rare sweet red wine from a local star producer in our own province. Made from grapes that are naturally frozen on the vines before picking. Bright fruity flavours of strawberry-rhubarb pie, luscious without being overly sweet. Try this with Crème Brulee or just enjoy sipping it on its own. Makes a terrific gift wine for someone special.
This Cabernet-based Ontario icewine features aromas or dark berries and strawberry-rhubarb jam, with mouth-watering acidity. - Community Wine Reviews
