Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is one of my first red experiences of French red Burgundy wine.
For someone who is used to full mouthed, intense personality wines, trying Burgundy wines means that I have to change my way of thinking. I had accept that this was going to be an experience where I was going to taste a wine that show cases the land that it grew within, how the temperature teased its fruits and how with little intervention, this complex territories could effect flavour from field to field.

This was a wine that was silky in its deliverance and light mouthed. A wine to enjoy with a delicious meal, to become part of the family. I would suggest pork, veal or fish and is best served slightly on the cooler side.

A pale coloured red, on the nose raspberries, black currants, wild delicate flowers and almonds.
On the palate, raspberries, blackberries and Pomegranite . Slight chocolate nuances and spices of Cinamon with white pepper. Good, medium length tannins.

I give this a 90, it was true to its origins and now I am ready to venture further into the other vine yards of Bourgonge! Bon Voyage!

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
