Hardys Bankside Shiraz 2009
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Hardys Bankside Shiraz 2009 Wine Review
Ultra-ripe plums and blackberries wrapped around a core of dark hedonism. Muscular and robust, yet succulent and smooth. Perfect for action movies where the hero is also sensitive. 4.4/5 Shiraz food pairings: bistro beef steak with roasted vegetables.

Rich, dark plum and morello cherry notes, with dark chocolate and bright earth overtones.
Rich, full palate, with lashes of plum, dark chocolate and spice. This wine displays terrific depth and length of flavour, with firm tannins balanced by primary fruits.
