Reviews and Ratings

rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An origin-protected sweet specialty wine from Hungary. Bright yellow with delicious candied citrus fruit, honey, orange peel aromas & flavours with touches of exotic spice and candied ginger. Long rich finish. Enjoy with spicy foods or crème caramel, shortbread, fruitcake. Serve well-chilled(10 degrees). Dessert wines like this one make great gifts for the holiday season.
Tasted Nov. 2016
Tokaji has been produced for over one thousand years, and is sourced from volcanic soils in vineyards situated along the southern slopes of the Carpathian Mountains. Stonefruit and cake spice with orange and peach blossom are the hallmarks of this dessert wine. There is good acidity on this wine that balances out its sweetness. Wonderful with dark chocolate or creamy brie-blue cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
