Reviews and Ratings

Neil Phillips rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of lemon peel, light toast, golden delicious apple, apricot, honeysuckle, nougat, roasted nuts.

On the palate, citrus notes of lemon-lime, apple, nougat and a creamy finish.

Excellent value for a traditionally-made sparkler. Blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Tasted December 2016.
The same grapes that go into Champagne, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, are used in the cuvee for this South African sparkling wine which also uses the same traditional methods with a second fermentation in the bottle. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
