|Neil Phillips rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:|
Aromas of lemon peel, light toast, golden delicious apple, apricot, honeysuckle, nougat, roasted nuts.
On the palate, citrus notes of lemon-lime, apple, nougat and a creamy finish.
Excellent value for a traditionally-made sparkler. Blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Tasted December 2016.
|The same grapes that go into Champagne, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, are used in the cuvee for this South African sparkling wine which also uses the same traditional methods with a second fermentation in the bottle. - Community Wine Reviews|
